Blyth ready for new cricket season opener.

BLYTH Cricket Club get their Northumberland Premier League season underway with a visit to newly promoted Bedlington on Saturday at 1pm.

That is followed by a home fixture against Stocksfield on Saturday, May 3, with a 1.30pm start.

Officials for the season show few changes - chairman is Paul Cormack, vice chairman and scorer Alison Saddler, secretary and league representative Ossy Lawrence, treasurer John Spencer, chairman of selectors and press secretary Roger Phillips.
