According to Oman News: The thoroughbred Arab Horse Racing kicked-off today at the Horse Racing Track at Al Felaij area in the Wilayat of Barka. The event is organised by the Royal Horse Race Club. The racing covered five rounds which witnessed fierce competition. In the first round dubbed Qalat al Jalali or "al Jalali Fort" for 1100 meter, for thoroughbred Arab horses, horse A'khir Lahzah or "last moment horse" owned by Ali bin Musabah al Ma'amari, won the first place.
