ONE person was killed and eight others injured when a vehicle apparently burst a tyre and overturned on the N2 near Macassar yesterday.
Emergency workers also responded to a rescue on Table Mountain.
Yesterday an operator at the Metro EMS control room said besides responding to a number of small accidents, ambulances had rushed to the N2 near Macassar where the vehicle had crashed.
