Boothtown speed cameras welcomed: Connor's family pleased.

THE family of a toddler killed on a busy road have welcomed the use of speed cameras in the area where he died.

Mobile speed cameras are to be used in Boothtown Road, Halifax, following backing from Calderdale Council.

The news follows months of campaigning by councillors, Boothtown residents, the family of tragic two-year-old Connor Graham and Halifax MP Linda Riordan.

The little boy, who had a twin called Corey, was killed two years ago as he left Stepping Stones Day Nursery, Claremount Road, Booth-town.
