LISBON, Portugal, Apr. 16, 2008 (IPS/GIN) -- It is not at all common to see a woman's name on the board of directors of a large Portuguese company, due to lingering employment disparities that have persisted throughout the country.
In the European Union, Portugal and Italy are at the bottom of the list in terms of female representation in economic decision-making positions, along with Cyprus and Luxembourg.
