He was a child star who sang for Zig and Zag. But this time around Owen Brady seems dazzled by the media spotlight, writes John costello

However, engaging with the media is not something that comes naturally to the Dubliner.

"I feel a little like a fish out of water," he con- fesses. "The last few years have been all about playing music, so this is all a bit alien to me."

He takes a sip from his pint of Bulmers, rubs his chin and then looks towards the ceiling as if he is about to drown in his own melancholy.
