ONE OF the most famous names in the Shire horse world is being kept alive by 25-year-old Edward Jones.

The trainee chartered surveyor is determined to carry on a family tradition which saw his grandfather William Tudor Jones become one of the most respected names on the Shire horse circuit.

Mr Jones, of Caerberllan, Llanfihangel-y-Pennant, near Tywyn, died last August - but not before passing on all the important tricks of the trade to his grandson.
