What do cherries, almonds, and soybeans have in common? They all need miniature yellow and black "farmers"--honeybees!

The tiny buzzing insects are responsible for one-third of all the food people consume, or eat. Honeybees pollinate more than 90 types of crops, from cotton to broccoli. To pollinate is to move a yellow powder called pollen from one plant to another, so the plants can make seeds and fruit.
