I noticed them Tuesday morning as I drove my son and our exchange student to school - hundreds of snow geese flying over Skaneateles high school.

During the last few weeks, I've had a number of people mention the birds' sudden and profound presence in Central New York, particularly at several of the Finger Lakes, the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge and around Cross Lake.
