The tragic death of a talented extreme Bay State ski star, killed on an Alaskan mountain slope during a live Web cast, is like "a bad dream," his heartbroken father said.

John Nicoletta, 27, originally of Westford, died from multiple injuries after a horrific fall on Mount Alyeska during the Subaru Freeskiing World Championships Friday.
