A DISC jockey who subjected his girlfriend to months of "mental torture" before holding a Samurai sword to her stomach during a row has been given an extended prison sentence.
Orville Alonso Darby, aged 52, was so controlling of his former partner that he would lose his temper if she did not answer her mobile phone after a certain number of rings.
The pub DJ, of Broadway, East Dene, Rotherham, even threatened to kill the woman and warned her he had been involved with firearms in his native Jamaica, Sheffield Crown Court heard.
