Barrow Manufacturing Co was founded in GA in 1931 and has kept competitive by investing in information technology and outsourcing manufacturing to facilities in the Caribbean. The company closed two of its four domestic plants in Jun 1995, retaining a dress pants factory in Winder, GA and a casual pants facility in Statham, GA. The family-owned company markets the MVP brand of special-sizes pants to specialty stores and department stores and the Ocean Drive brand to the mass market.
