A Kirton woman has called on the RAF to stop its helicopters from flying too low and putting horse riders at danger by frightening their animals.
Clare Kerslake (31) was in a stable with her two horses when they became spooked by the noise of a low-flying helicopter.
She said the noise made them restless and difficult to control in a small space and she quickly left the stable fearing for her safety.
Clare added: "I was feeding them and I saw a Chinook helicopter come over the tree tops. The noise was almost deafening and it was very frightening.
