BUTUAN CITY - Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Jose L. Atienza Jr. sought yesterday the help of the people in the effort to save 10,000 hectares of fresh water bodies and 421 rivers from deterioration.

The DENR chief aired the call during a brief meeting with the newsmen at a downtown resort and convention center here.

Atienza was in the party of President Arroyo during her two-day swing in Northeastern Mindanao...
