It got a little closer than Sunset wanted. but the Apollos advanced to the state semifinals.
Third-ranked Sunset held on for a 46-43 win over No. 7 Central Catholic in the quarterfinals of the OSAA Class 6A boys basketball tournament Thursday at McArthur Court. Sunset advanced to face No. 1 Oregon City in the semifinals tonight at 8:15.
