A teenager went on a "wrecking spree" which caused thousands of pounds of damage to Sunderland's Winter Gardens.
Anthony Munday, 18, was picked up by police on December 4 after a gang of five males was spotted by CCTV operators trying to break into a car on High Street West, Sunderland.
Munday, now of Roker Avenue, Sunderland, confessed to officers he had broken windows at the tourist attraction and was in possession of a hammer and a screwdriver.
