Digicel awarded licence to operate in Vanuatu.

24 MARCH 2008 PORT VILA (Pacnews) --- Digicel Pacific Ltd has strengthened its footprint in the region after being awarded a licence to operate a mobile phone network in Vanuatu, reports the National newspaper.

This comes after being awarded a licence in Fiji two weeks ago.

Digicel Pacific will now offer a seamless pan pacific Global System for Communication (GSM) SM network across five markets in Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Fiji and Vanuatu.
