Fast-paced and entertaining, the Syracuse University Drama Department's rendition of "Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni, as translated by Tom Cone, is an example of 18th century Italian theater at perhaps its wackiest. Think "The Marx Brothers Go to Venice."

Director Leslie Noble has succeeded at encouraging young actors to infuse - in proper, measured amounts - playfulness and whimsy into their characters. This talented ensemble appears to be having fun as they spread the joy inherent in this kind of theater.
