LINDLEY'S Tom Murray got his first year in the professional ranks off to a flier with a blistering victory in an elite event at Darley Moor, Derbyshire.

The 22-year-old ex-Greenhead College student and graduate in sports management at Sheffield Hallam University, beat rival Jon Mozley in a sprint after a group of six had escaped with 20 miles to go.
