Shell's Finlayson discusses Astrakhan projects with governor

ASTRAKHAN. March 14 (Interfax) - Royal Dutch/Shell is interested in taking part in a gas processing project in Astrakhan region, the regional fuel and energy ministry reported following a meeting between the head of Shell in Russia Chris Finlayson and Astrakhan region Governor Alexander Zhilkin.

"One of the items discussed was a proposal on the company's participation in developing fields which have sulfurous gas with a large acid component," a ministry official said.
