A GAINSBOROUGH woman has just had the "experience of a lifetime" by winning a competition to attend the Brit Awards.
Self-employed hairdresser Karen Toyne put on her best frock with boyfriend Mark Ratcliffe to attend the prestigious music event at Earls Court in London recently.
Karen, of Elsham Walk, entered a competition to vote for the Best British Single which was run through local radio station Lincs FM.
After receiving a telephone call Karen, a mother-of-two, was told she was down to the final five and then the final three.
