JOHN DALY'S descent from grace has turned into a nosedive with his disqualification from this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational.
In failing to turn up for yesterday's Pro-am at Bay Hill, Daly thumbed his nose at one of the most revered figures in world golf.
No apologies were offered beforehand and in the absence of an acceptable excuse, Daly was disqualified from playing this week.
