Xining Special Steel net profit up 42 pct year-on-year in 2007

Shanghai. March 6. INTERFAX-CHINA - Shanghai-listed Xining Special Steel Co. Ltd. Wednesday announced a net profit of RMB 300 million ($42.15 million) in 2007, up 41.71 percent from 2006, while operating revenue surged 68.16 percent over the period to RMB 5.77 billion ($810.76 million).

Xining Special Steel attributed the rise in both operating revenue and net profit to its record steel product output and optimized coordination of coking, iron ore mining and steelmaking operations over the year. ...
