JOHANNESBURG _ Governments from around the world continued to express outrage Saturday over Nigeria's execution of nine political activists, including noted playwright and novelist Ken Saro-Wiwa.

At least a dozen nations, including the United States, Britain, Denmark, Germany and France, have recalled their ambassadors from Lagos, Nigeria's commercial capital.

In Auckland, New Zealand, where the 52-nation British Commonwealth is holding its annual meeting, members voted Saturday to suspend Nigeria from the organization.
