Steve Gordon believes that many Eugene residents could learn a thing or two about Springfield if they would simply hop on an EmX bus and visit the neighboring city.
"As Eugeneans, I think we tend to stay on this side of the river too much and not go over to the other side enough," said Gordon, a retired Lane Council of Governments planner who spoke Saturday during a forum focusing on the conjoined communities' similarities and differences.
