CENTENARY 'Raising of the Flag' Competition: After a rousing reception with City and Golf Club officials on Sunday morning to raise the flag, teams gathered individually at each of the 18 tees for the midday shotgun start of the mixed Texas Scramble.
Many players entered into the spirit of one hundred years of golf at Ripon City by sporting golfing attire of the early 1900s.
Cutting an extra special dash was Jimmy Chiu.
The scramble was completed in good time, good weather and excellent camaraderie.
