West Virginia Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D) had high praise for Hardy Telecommunications (Lost River, W.Va.), saying the company had gone "above and beyond" in its efforts to provide broadaband capability to its customers.

"An astounding 98 percent of your customers currently have access to broadband," said Rockefeller, who was the featured speaker at Hardy's annual meeting.
