PEMC to collect P489 M in market fees.(Business News)

The Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC) has been allowed by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to collect market transaction fees amounting to P489.32 million for this year.

Effectively, this will also be PEMC's budget in operating the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) for the period, both in Luzon and Visayas.

The regulatory body said the Luzon WESM may corner total market transaction fees of P461.24 million; while Visayas collections may reach P28.10 million.
