Oleg Cassini has lived an extraordinary life.
Born an aristocrat in Paris to an Italian countess and a Russian count, he married first to cough-syrup heiress Merry Fahrney, later to actress Gene Tierney and was subsequently engaged to Grace Kelly before Prince Rainier came along. Cassini is most famous for the impact he's had on fashion _ from popularizing the Nehru jacket for men to changing the way women around the world dressed in the early '60s.
