Medical negligence is a real issue, affecting real Coloradans. Contrary to the Rocky's Feb. 20 editorial "Wrong way on damages," Senate Bill 164 is about ensuring that victims of medical negligence are treated fairly and equitably. It is not about doctors, lawyers or insurance companies, but rather the average Colorado citizen who might during the course of his or her lifetime become a victim of medical negligence.
