Songbird Lucy scoops top prize.

A PUPIL at Coleraine High School has won a songwriting competition.

Lucy Campbell won the competition run by the NEELB. Contestants were asked to produce their own score and lyrics for a song which would be suitable for a teenage audience.

There were categories for both post primary schools and public libraries, and Lucy's entry 'Unrequited Love' won her first prize.
