ALTHOUGH Wise Speke has been owned by Brewin Dolphin since its takeover in 1998, it has now been decided, with a degree of sadness, to rename the division in line with the parent company Brewin Dolphin.

As proud as we are of Wise Speke's history and the ongoing culture that makes us unique, it was felt that the Brewin Dolphin name fully encapsulates the strength and breadth of the combined group as the UK's largest independent investment manager.
