[2] LUXOR, Egypt -- Building a city for King Tut's dad might sound like a cool, summer job. But the bones of the young builders tell a painful, story. Archaeologists have been studying what little remains of Amarna, a city that Pharaoh Akhenaton built more than 3,300 years ago to honor the sun god Aten. They say the city was anything but a paradise for workers. New studies of human bones found near Amarna indicate the builders were young. They toiled through 100-degree summers, lugging huge stone blocks, and their food was low in nutrition. ...
