There is no shortage today of books about the Egyptian pyramids. Readers may choose from various popular volumes such as The Orion Mystery (1995) by Robert Bauval and Adrian Gilbert, or from several scholarly works such as The Complete Pyramids (1997) by Mark Lehner. It is thus reasonable to wonder whether a new study of these monuments is in order, especially one that is almost six hundred pages.
