MACASSAR residents believe tik abuse to be the single biggest problem in their community.
Protesting against the scourge, Cape Town Mayor Helen Zille led about 100 residents and members of the Democratic Alliance (DA) through the streets of Macassar yesterday afternoon.
The group chanted "down with tik", while a group of primary school children carried placards with anti-tik messages.
They said many children they knew were using tik.
