GARDNER - Eight years ago, Jamie Floyd took over the Blue Moon Diner at 102 Main St.

The 41-year-old businesswoman and mother of two has been making subtle changes to the Worcester lunch car 815, which was built in 1949.

She brightened up the space, particularly in the rear portion of the diner, purchased new chrome-style tables and chairs, and added some 1950s decor.

The owner also renamed most items in the menu. Now, an order of two eggs, home fries and toast with choice of hash is called "The Big Bopper;" two eggs, home fries and toast is ...
