The espresso coffee pod is, without a doubt, one of the biggest news items in the espresso world in recent years. The purpose of the system is to capture the fragrance and aroma of the freshly ground beans and seal it into a package.

The market share of the pod has steadily increased, but still many people (if not everybody) are waiting for the pod to create its own market niche.
