The inability to effectively disseminate information on school events and educational issues to students and their parents is one of the major frustrations of teachers, school administrators and school counselors. Educational and cable television are effective tools for information dissemination but have been largely neglected by schools. Census Bureau statistics show that 98% of US households have TV sets, and 61% subscribe to cable TV. By the end of the 1990s, all US households will have cable TV.
