DUDLEY - Shepherd Hill Regional High School administration and students raised $4,800 for a Charlton family whose house was destroyed by a fire on Super Bowl Sunday.

On Feb. 3, the Langleys' home at 54 Daniels Road, Charlton, burned to the ground. Robert and Jayne Langley lived in the wooden ranch house with their three children, all of whom are students in the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District.

They were not home at the time. The cause of the four-alarm fire was undetermined by the state fire marshal's office.
