Population and the family in Southeast Asia.

There has been a gradual decline in population growth in Asia since the late 1960s. However, population in the region is expected to grow in the future. Family composition and function are also likely to change as Southeast Asia undergoes rapid economic expansion. Population and family policies should therefore take into account the changing patterns to meet future challenges.
