COUNCIL RESPONDS TO FLAGS AND EMBLEMS CRITICISM.

BANBRIDGE Council has sought specialist legal advice after criticism over the relocation of sensitive plaques and pictures, a spokesperson has stated.
In a lengthy statement the spokesperson said that as reported in the local newspapers the County Down Grand Orange Lodge had made a submission to the Council's Equality and Good Relations Committee regarding the ongoing EQIA Consultation on the Council's display of flags and emblems.
