Private label women's clothing continues to increase in market share in 1995. A total of $71.8 billion in women's clothing was sold during 1994 and 27.3% or $19.6 billion of this total was private label. A total of $67.6 billion in women's clothing was sold in 1993 and 25.5% or $17.2 billion was private label. From Jan-Jun 1995, women's private label clothing was $9.2 billion or 27.5% of sales.
