Dear Obed, howzit, boet!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to swing by the city hall for tea this week, but I have been in Cape Town.

Like you, I'm not normally a fan of the Mother City, but by golly it is growing on me.

I don't want to raise your infamous gaffe about how Cape Town can "keep its moffies", Obed, but I have to. You see, while I was in Cape Town covering the annual Embroidery and Crocheting Conference (heady stuff!) I got to thinking about stereotypes.
