Guardian adopted charity for 2008 announced.

LOST Chord, a charity which provides interactive music sessions for dementia sufferers, has been chosen as the Dinnington and Maltby Guardian's Adopted Charity 2008.

The cause, which is based in Slade Hooton, near Laughton, organises concerts featuring highly trained musical professionals for people who suffer with dementia.

The charity holds 64 concerts each month in the South Yorkshire area, totalling more than 700 per year. It has also started holding performances in London and Wales.
