Be it the work of villagers in Basgo, Ladakh who restored and consolidated their 15th-century Buddhist temples or the case of the conservation of Altit Settlement in Gilgit, we are seeing initiatives that are bringing about a paradigm shift in the way we perceive heritage conservation.
