NEW YORK - Laxatives constitute a category in need of excitement, according to chain drug retailers. "There's nothing new in laxatives," says Jude Eserman, a buyer for New Orleans-based K&B Services Inc. "The category is showing a little growth, but there's really nothing exciting happening."
