The variety of countries comprising the UN makes it difficult to obtain complete support for decisions on key issues. Nevertheless, the UN should always try to win the greatest support possible to fulfill its mission of promoting international peace and security. Consistency in the policies of individual countries, better coordination between the UN and its agencies, the rejection of racial and cultural biases and other recommendations to promote unity in the UN are presented.
