Today's museum needs to imitate Le Corbusier's idea of the perfect city. He conceived of it as a human body with a clearly defined head (capital complex), heart (city centre), lungs (park and gardens) and limbs (cultural and educational institutions). By imposing such a structure, he believed that his city would fulfill four major functions: living, working, care of the body and spirit, and circulation. Most major museums today make such requisites a priority in order to keep their visitors happy.
