Bargain hunters and bookworms are in for a treat when a massive January sale is held in Alfreton.

The event, on Saturday, January 26, is the latest to be organised at the Wesley Church in Ellesmere Avenue.

Organisers expect to have a wide range of goods on sale - including books from the collection of Alfreton local historian Don Watson who died earlier this year.

Many of Mr Watson's books were sold at a previous sale in September.
