The UN planned to send a verification team to El Salvador after the mandate of ONUSAL ended in Apr 1995. UN Sec General Boutros Boutros-Ghali praised the progress toward peace and human rights in El Salvador, but planned to verify measures regarding issues such as land transfers and legislation.
